The oscillating spreader is designed for precise application of fertiliser and seed at medium to low rates. The oscillating spout will apply product accurately from 5 to 14 metres depending on material being spread as well as left or right hand banding.
Spreader is supplied with spouts for banded spreading for either 3 metre or 7 metre wide rows. (Note: Banded spreading will still allow some product to spread in centre)

Product overview: Where spreaders have consistently failed in the past is offering the ability to spread every type of Fertilizer or Grass seed with precision.
Products from 0.5mm up to 5.0mm can be used through this spreader.
Fertilizers come in all shapes, sizes, and weights. As a result, they fly off the impellor in different ways. This can cause more material to be spread to the right than to the left, or vice versa. To even the amount of material spread on both sides, adjustments must be made to the application holes on the bottom.
Our slider allows easy adjustment of the output holes.
Border control is achieved by pushing the border control slider across (as in the picture below), you can shut off one side of the spreader.
This helps save patio paths and flower borders from the spread of material where its not required.
The 20SW spreader has many other features including a powder
coated steel frame, pneumatic wheels for all year-round improved grip, an enhanced gearbox and solid rod throttle control.

ABBEY 6.8M3 MUCK SIDE SPREADERS AB2090

Farmhand is for the larger garden and lawn jobs that are still most easily accomplished with a push-type spreader. These machines are on pneumatic tyres. The gearbox with stand some decent wear and tear with a 13cm crown wheel. The large-quadrant flow control mechanism is easy to operate for accurate, incremental sowing rates, and features an adjustable stop device so exact rates can be set and repeated.
Spread width is 4-6m, depending on material being applied. The whole unit is mounted on a sturdy pipe frame. Handles are full height for stoop less operation. A transparent hopper cover is supplied.
NB: some assembly with regular home handyman tools is required on receipt
NOTE: use granulated fertiliser. The spreaders are for use with granulated fertiliser, and for grass seed. Powdered fertilisers may block outlet mechanism. Machine should not be pushed any distance with flow-plate fully closed. Such use with damage the drive mechanism.
