Recent research has confirmed that several diseases, including E.coli scours and Joint-ill, find their way into the new-born animal via the umbilical cord.
Sprays and dips can also cause problems.
Our umbilical clamps are the solution.
Simply attach as soon as possible after birth. Remove after 24 to 48 hours. Place clamp approximately 5mm from top of umbilical cord. Cut cord below clamp to prevent suckling. Clamps can be disinfected and re-used if desired, or can be left to fall off naturally.

Are you looking for a strong striker plate for your yard? You can trust that your latches will lock into place with our sturdy strike plates.

Our zinc plated striker plates are made from quality steel to ensure a sturdy plate that wont bend on you.

We supply 14mm striker plates and 20mm striker plates to suit your 14mm latches, 20mm latches or spring bolts. 

Each plate is angled. As you shut the gate, your latch pin will compress as it moves up the angle. As soon as it hits the hole, the spring shoots in, locking the gate. You can slam your gate fast or hard. If a cow is about to run out the gate, you can shut it and trust that it will lock in and not swing past the post. 

Single sided or double sided striker plates are available. If your gate operates one way, then a single sided plate is perfect. If you have a gate that swing both ways then your can get a double sided plate.

A galvabond cap is created when we get a pre-galvanised sheet and punch the cap out. This creates a lot smoother finish, yet still remains corrosion resistant.

A lot of older farm buildings, such as shearing sheds, are made up of solid timber. The doors are timber, the frames are timber, everything is timber! The doors are big, wide and heavy. It can be difficult to find a strong, durable hinge to fit your needs.
Our ball bearing hinges allow you to screw onto both a timber door and timber posts. We also have a weld-on hinge option if you have got a new steel framed door or post.
This product is a smooth swinging durable hinge that can be bolted or welded.

What are the hinge components?
These zinc plated heavy duty hinges are made of quality steel.
Each set includes a top and bottom part of the hinge. Left or right orientated pins are available based on your needs whether its bolt/bolt, bolt/weld, or weld/weld.
The main hinge has the precision cut pin welded into it. The socket, which the pin is then inserted into includes a big ball bearing. This ensures your door hinges can take a heavy load, yet still open and close smoothly. The ball bearing is kept in the socket with a little collar so it wont accidentally fall out.
To ensure the longevity of your hinge, you can grease the steel ball bearings through greasing points.
