Firstly in terms of heating time, warming 200L of milk from 16°C to 35°C is reduced 25%, due to all warmer heat being retained in the exchanger and transferred into the milk.

Secondly, and also very important, the thermal cap reduces steam and vapour entering the milk warmer electrics, thus almost eliminating condensation failures.

These caps should be fitted to all milk warmer heat exchangers in use."
