Clutch can be operated from either side of unit
Standard split reel holds 500 metres of 1.8HT or 400 metres of 2.5mm barbed wire or 1500 metres of plain wire. Length will vary with wire thickness.
Reel shaft rides on two moly impregnated poly bushes
Reel is designed with three tie-off points, if rolling up HT wire or you choose to keep the wire in rolls.
Wire guide can be operated from both sides of the machine
Unit is designed with tie-off loops on the frame to hold it in place during operations.
Weight of unit 75kg
A lifting hook in the centre of the machine makes it a one man operation to load and unload the machine.
The entire unit is manufactured in steel fabrication.
All shields and guards are of steel.
Comfort rubber grip handles are standard on clutch handles and wire guide
On plain and plain HT always attach a weight to the end of the wire to give it some drag. (You will get more wire onto the reel)
This wire winder is designed to sit in, or on, a flat tray or trailer and pull the wire towards you.
