JOHN BERENDS GROWMASTER 2400 AERATORS - DOUBLE ROTOR - 0176 for sale
Price: $9,075
The Grow-Master aerator can turn your tired, life-less soil into productive, high yielding pastures. This versatile implement will aerate, cultivate and renovate your soils.
The specially designed tines shatter the compact ground, increasing the absorption of water and air which in turn encourages root growth. The tines have a slight twist in them which cracks the ground in a sideways and downwards motion. This allows water, air and nutrients to move readily through the soil profile making them more available for plant roots.
The grow-master is fitted with double rollers which are angled in opposite directions. This reduces sideway drag on the tractor when ground engaging. Each roller can be adjusted for various degrees of angle from 2.5 to a maximum of 10 (four positions).
The maximum offset position is the most aggressive and is most often used for cultivation and for over-sowing new pasture seed. Ballast weight added to the frame will ensure that the tines are buried down to the hub.
Horsepower requirement is quite low with a minimum of only 35Hp required for the 2m unit. A tow hook is mounted on the back for dragging pasture harrows. 2 bolt gang adjustable to alter rotor angle.
Large floor plate deck for carrying ballast (weight) 100x100x6mm RHS Perimeter frame. Heavy Duty 2 triple sealed bearings. Double rollers allow machine to be angle for more aggressive cultivation.
Easy adjust mounting stands. Solid 75mm rotor. Roller is fitted with the same 2 heavy duty bearings used on the Berends Rotary Drain digger for over 30 years. The patented Shatter tines are 8 long and have a unique angle providing a much superior finish to conventional straight tines.
Product Specifications
Aerate, Renovate and Maintain 00 Neutral Setting
The axle is straight
This is used when the soil structure is very friable.
The tines will usually penetrate their full depth.
This setting is usually used to maintain the soil structure, possibly once a year in a maintenance program.
Aerate and Renovate 2.5 Setting
The axle has 2.5 degrees of angle
This is ideal for your first use of the aervator.
If your ground is hard the tines may not penetrate very far, maybe only 25-50 mm.
Dont worry, this is normal. Aeration is not a quick fix.
Aerate and Renovate 50 Setting
The axle has 5 degrees of angle
Use this setting for subsequent uses of the aervator.
With each pass you should change the direction of travel.
Across then diagonally is ideal.
Cultivate and Renovate 7.5 Setting
The axle has 7.5 degrees of angle
On this setting the aervator starts to get aggressive.
You may require additional weight or ballast to acheive maximum depth.
This setting is best used after previous passes and will fracture any compaction layer.
If used on extremely hard ground the tines will probably not penetrate very far.
Cultivate 100 Setting
The axle has 10 degrees of angle
On this setting the aervator is very aggressive.
Again use weight.
This setting is best used after previous passes and will fracture any compaction layer.
If used on hard ground the tines will probably not penetrate very far.
Optional
