The drill bit coupling is custom. These couplings suit Atom drill bits (may also suit other brands). Motor End of coupling is 16mm, Drill Bit End is 1/2 inch. 2 grub screws hold it in place on the motor and drill bit end. The motor has a key way on the shaft and the drill bits have a slot for the grub screw to be secured.

A standard drill bit for drilling holes in a hardwood split post fence is a 32 x 360mm drill bit, which is included with this borer.

The hydraulic hose couplings are as pictured. Round ends with the coupling size listed as standard size.
